15/06/2011 "Global Wind Day 2011" One more year, The Foundation Sotavento Galicia participated in the Global Wind Day, coordinated by EWEA (European Wind Energy Association), GWEC (Global Wind Energy Council) and AEE (Asociación Empresarial Eólica). This year, 29 countries around the world will take part in this celebration, with thousands of public events aimed at promoting the use of wind as an energy source. Download photography: Download   09/05/2011 European Solar Days 2011 The Foundation Sotavento Galicia took part one more time of “European Solar Days” that they take place from the 9th to 15th of May to promote the use of solar energy among people. To celebrate these days, they took place in Sotavento a series of activities directed at different groups of ages. Download photography: Download   21/06/2010 Opening of the Demonstrative Bioclimatic House The President of the Xunta de Galicia, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, visited Sotavento together with the Regional Minister of Economy and Industry, Javier Guerra Fernández, to chair the opening ceremony of Demonstrative Bioclimatic House.
