FORMATIVE AREA Methodology

The methodology used by Sotavento is based on the law which govern the Spanish Educational System (L.O.G.S.E). Sotavento tries to contribute to the learnig of the visitors, addapting the activities and the explorations to their previous knownledge, ages, interests, characteristics, etc. This methodology will be used in all cases; in the case of groups belonging to formal education or whatever visit would come to the farm. It could be modified depending on the valuations made at the end of the visit or depending on the judgment of the Formative Team. This is the reason why each group of visitors is personally attended.

Not less important are the aspects bound to the principles stablished by the Constitutional Law 1/1990 and the Constitutional Law of the Quality of Education 10/2002.
This way, we will use handling and experimentation as the basic resources to support the adquired knowledge.

Finally, Sotavento´s educational project contains a common aspect, aimed at educational levels, the palyful aspect, which is essential in order to evaluate the learning and to enjoy the visit.
