Sotavento is located in the south-west of Europe, in Galicia, Spain, in the region of "A Serra da Loba". It lies 10 km to the south of As Pontes de García Rodríguez. It is one hour away from A Coruña and one hour from Santiago de Compostela, between the municipalities of Xermade (LUGO) and Monfero (A CORUÑA). It is a between 600 and 700 metres above seat level.
