Once again, the Sotavento Renewable Photography Contest, now in its thirteenth edition, presented a cash prize of €400 to its winner. The photograph selected by the jury from more than twenty entries was “Viaje gélido entre algodones” (Icy journey among cotton) by Ilda Gregorio Corral, a native of As Pontes de García Rodríguez.
The main objective of this photography contest, which is open to anyone regardless of age with an image of the Sotavento Experimental Wind Farm, is to promote the world of renewable energy in general and the concept of Sotavento in particular.
