This year we celebrated the World Science Day with various activities to reach people the message that science and technology can help reduce poverty, protect the environment and improve quality of life.
This year, Sotavento was the center of the activities of the Global Wind Day organized in Spain by Asociación Empresarial Eólica (AEE) in Xermade (Lugo).

This initiative is organized by Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, in close cooperation with the Europeans Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy from 18 to 22 June. It is designed to spread best practices, inspire new ideas and build alliances to help meet the EU’s energy and climate goals.
